on hire purchase basis to cottage/
small/medium/large scale industries.

promote, establish, maintain and manage

business relating to the manufacture,
purchase and sale of any type of product
based on any type of fruit & vegetable.

act as an agents on behalf of the Central
and
State Governments, Corporation/ Organisation
or any institution
or concern for distribution of
agricultural machinery and inputs and
other allied articles.
To
arrange procurement or manufacturing
and distribution
of organic and
chemical fertilizers, seeds, pesticides etc.

undertake rural electrification programmes,
lift irrigation programmes, small hydro power projects etc.
For the attainment
of the main objects
there are several incidental
or ancillary objects as per the registered bye-laws.

Member ship
|
This is the first federal type of
agro-industrial society in Kerala with institutional
and individual members. The institutional
members are mainly Primary Service Co-op.
Banks and Societies in the State. Besides
membership is open to Central and State
Governments.

Management
|
The
society is managed by a 14 member
Board of Directors. 10 Directors
elected from among Institutional members
and 2 Directors from among the individual
members. The President of the Kannur District
Co-op. Bank is Ex-Officio
member of the Board. The present Board
is headed by Sri. T. Krishnan
as Chairman who is a veteran co-operator.
The professional management is headed by
Sri. C. Venugopal as Managing Director
who is an Engineering Graduate
with vast experience in corporate
management sector, who has bagged the "Rashtreeya
Rattan Award" issued by the Global
Economic Council, New Delhi. And also the
"Bhartiya Udyog Ratan Award" for
the achievements and contributions in his
field.
